Our basic SCUBA class is comprised of:

​

• 2 pool sessions

• 2 classroom sessions 

• 2 ocean days with 2 dives each for a total of 4 cold water dives.

 

We start the class with NAUI E-learning which you do on-line from the convenience from your home. Each chapter has a quiz and chapter test. As you complete the chapters, instructors are notified of your progress. 

 

At the end of your E-learning, at a set scheduled time, all students meet at the Yacht Haven Dive Center for the classroom instruction and indoor pool sessions.

What are the costs?

 

The cost to start the NAUI E-Learning packet is $230.

​

The cost of the classroom session, pool session and open water session is $575.

​

Dan diving Insurance provided to students during class

 

EQUIPMENT:

​

Yacht Have Dive Center  provides

Regulator, BCD, Tank/ Air and fins (Pool and Open water).

 

 Please be able to supply the following  personal gear like:

​​

• Mask/snorkel

• 5mm gloves

• 5 mm booties 

• 5 mm Hood

• 7mm wetsuit

 

If you do not have these items or need new items please visit our on-line store or visit us at the Dive Center to purchase gear. Depending on your size we might not have the wetsuit that would fits you perfectly in which case we can custom order for you.

 

If we have a used wetsuit, booties,gloves,hood on the shelf and it fits you you’re welcome to use it for the class.

We sell all equipment at the dive shop or you can provide your own.

 

We extend a  10% discount on all gear to students.

 

We provide all air during the class and pool rental is included.

 

The class size is between 4 and 6 if we have more than that we can always schedule another class.

Upon course completion:

• you are issued a NAUI dive card to present to other dive shops or charters

• you are certified to dive anywhere around the world.

•  you are able to sign up for specialty dive classes that range from Dive Master, Ice Diver, Rescue Diver and much more.
